ADMIN NOTES:

] Return shipping/insurance is additional—minimum $25.00

] All work includes an initial inspection to make sure the weapon is serviceable and in basic working order. Adverse findings will be passed to the customer before work can commence. A minimum inspection charge of $75 will be assessed to cover the cost of time inspecting, if it is decided to NOT refinish the weapon due to un-serviceability.

] All customer parts are kept together for proper re-assembly. Bores are plugged and certain areas taped off to ensure quality work.

] It should be noted that refinishing a ‘collectible’ rifle MAY reduce its value. Please determine that before contacting us, as we do not provide that type of ‘vintage’ consultation.

] ALL rifles will be function fired after work is complete—this does not include zeroing the rifle. Rifles are then cleaned, re-lubricated and returned to the customer.

] M1 Garand hardened parts like the gas cylinder and gas cylinder plug and lock will be MANOWAR color matched to the rest of the rifle.

] Stock work is not covered in any of the above work. In the event we find associated problems or feel we can make an improvement, we will contact the owner for further clarification and a decision.

] This work is designed for the basic issue service rifle and not intended for sniper models or weapons that have been modified in any way. If you have an M1D or similar type US GI sniper rifle, we may be able to do the work and will cost this out separately].

] Working on vintage rifles is not a precise science as many of these rifles are 50+ years old. The wear factor is such that a part may ‘gauge’ but still not perform well OR perform consistently. [TheM1 gas system comes to mind.] We have also noticed that some ammunition, mostly imported, may not have sufficient powder burn rate to operate a gas fed rifle OR meet accuracy expectations. Therefore, we will do our work and the customer must agree to accept these possibilities.
