REMINGTON M870 SHOTGUN

Remington now swings the pendulum even further on 870P Police shotgun line offerings. The new 870P MAX carries maximum features for tactical shotgun application. The buildup starts with the standard 870 Police Parkerized 18" barrel shotgun. We've included the Davis Speedfeed® IV-s 13" LOP full pistol grip buttstock for ease of handling and comfort while wearing a vest. (Stock is 1" shorter than a standard full length stock)

XS® interchangeable front sight. This system also allows the user to remove the rear sights and put on a low profile front bead for instant bead sight acquisition. Last but not least is the Surefire® Tactical fore-end flashlight with momentary & toggle switch ON/OFF application. Other features include Remington's new R3 recoil pad to lessen the felt recoil of full load buckshot and slugs as well as provide a quicker second shot recovery.

While our line offerings consist of the most popularly called models, customized models are available upon request. Plus, the addition of the R3 recoil pad to all Model 870 Police shotguns reduces the felt recoil of heavy loads by 30%. The SPEEDFEED ® I stock has two magazine tubes that hold four additional rounds molded into it.

Remington 870, Police Parkerized

The most traditional Model 870P police shotguns have a walnut stock and fore-end with a blued or parkerized metal finish. The Model 870P's receiver is machined from a solid block of ordnance steel for the longest possible service life. Its 3" chamber accepts all 2¾" and 3" 12-ga. shells. A Flexitab™ feeding system makes loading and cycling more positive and easier than ever. With the exception of the 14" barrel models, all catalog Model 870Ps come with a fixed IC choke for patterning consistency. The new R3 recoil pad has been added for recoil absorbsion.
